Hot air balloons started lifting up. We’ve gone crazy over the jumbo turtle balloon named Mister Bup, Old Mc Donald’s Farm, Karlsberg Urpills and a Smiling Sun. It was just amazing to watch the sky filled with colors.

After two weeks of planning, change of venue, event promotion and pre-climb meeting, our group was conceived. Precy who is single and ready to mingle will be leaving again soon for overseas work and a change of career. She was with Flor, her younger sister and a grade school teacher. MALEN (yes, in all caps) who lost contact with Mouhics after College, can’t wait to RAPPEL. She was with Toni, the giddy girl in the Men’s Room.

Off we go sailing. It was the first time I sailed on a calm water. We are cruising at Tańon Strait which connects Bohol Sea and Visayan Sea and is located in between the islands of Cebu and Negros.

The soothing smell of the sea kissed my lips and eased my tired soul. It’s like the world suddenly moved gently. I wish for the moment to last longer.

The road trip in Negros Island — The backdrop kept us fascinated, I lost count on how many bridges and scenic rivers we crossed. How much sugar canes I’ve eaten in my dreams. The playful children walking home from school were a pleasant sight to behold.
